BuildTech Youth

We've hosted multiple computer building workshops across the Bay in Newark, Union City, and Fremont.

Our computer building workshops are 1-2 day events between 2 and 4 hours long. We cover all the basic components located within a computer, their functions, and how they play a central role in the whole system. By bringing an excess amount of parts, we let everyone interact with the parts to better understand their functions. Following the brief lecture, we build a full-on, working computer. Every child gets to help out screwing in parts, plugging in wires, and attaching components together. In the end, we have a computer that has been fully assembled by our very own students.

By limiting our class sizes to 10-15 students, we can ensure everyone gets an equal opportunity working on the computer and that anyone can ask any questions.
